Using the current version (2.17), configured to allow only ssh with X connections, I get the following error message on the client:-

ssh –t –Y address@hidden ssh –Y address@hidden

address@hidden password:

address@hidden password:

/usr/bin/xauth: (argv):1: bad display name “2>/dev/null” in “list” command

It does however, work. I can run an X program on “system1” and it displays back on my starting system.

Jailkit is running on Scientific Linux 6.5 (Red Hat alike).

# cat jk_chrootsh.ini

#CED Pass DISPLAY, XAUTHORITY and TERM environment variables to chrooted

#    shell so that X will work back to clients

#

[DEFAULT]

env = TERM, DISPLAY, XAUTHORITY

and in jk_init.ini, the relevant lines are:-

[xauth]

comment = getting X authentication to work

#CED paths = /usr/bin/X11/xauth, /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt, /etc/ld.so.conf

paths = /usr/bin/xauth, /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt, /etc/ld.so.conf

Any ideas please?

Thanks,

Chris
