[Jailkit-users] SFTP info logging

This question has been brought up previously but I read through the responses and none of them appear to have a valid solution. I would like to get the INFO logging for openssh's sftp subsystem working with jailkit users. Here is what I have setup for non-jailkit users and is verified working:

local5.* /var/log/sftp

Subsystem sftp /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server -l INFO -f LOCAL5

This setup generates /var/log/sftp entries like this:
Mar  6 10:49:16 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: session opened for local user root from []
Mar  6 10:49:16 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: opendir "/root"
Mar  6 10:49:16 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: closedir "/root"
Mar  6 10:49:34 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: open "/root/testfile.txt" flags WRITE,CREATE,TRUNCATE mode 0644
Mar  6 10:49:38 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: close "/root/testfile.txt" bytes read 0 written 3745195
Mar  6 10:49:56 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: remove name "/root/testfile.txt"
Mar  6 10:53:56 testsrv sftp-server[19072]: session closed for local user root from []

I'd like to know how to get the same log entries to show up for jailkit users. My jailkit users are working correctly and can access sftp but this is the only log line I get and it appears in /var/log/messages:
Mar  6 10:46:10 testsrv jk_chrootsh[18778]: now entering jail /var/www/clients/client1/web1 for user testuser (5049)
