Ok just to be sure that loging works, here is what I did.

My cvsjail is located at /cvsjail so I modified the jk_socketd.ini file to
look like this:

[/cvsjail/dev/log]
base = 1024
peek = 10240
interval = 0.5

then I did killall jk_socketd ; jk_socketd

and when I attempt to connect this is what I see in my /var/log/secure

[secure log]
postponed public key for user cvsuser
accepted public key for user cvsuser
[/secure log]

I dont see any thing else. also when I attempt to vi the /cvsjail/dev/log it
says permission denied and I'm using the root account. Maybe there is
something wrong with my permissions.. here is the relavent..

address@hidden /]# ls -al
total 270
drwxr-xr-x   26 root root  4096 May 15 08:16 .
drwxr-xr-x   26 root root  4096 May 15 08:16 ..
drwxr-xr-x    9 root root  4096 May 10 12:20 cvsjail

address@hidden /]# cd cvsjail
address@hidden cvsjail]# ls -al
total 72
drwxr-xr-x   9 root     root     4096 May 10 12:20 .
drwxr-xr-x  26 root     root     4096 May 15 08:16 ..
drwxrwsr-x   3 cvsowner cvsusers 4096 May 13 08:57 cvsroot
drwxr-xr-x   2 root     root     4096 May 15 08:47 dev
drwxr-xr-x   3 root     root     4096 May 13 16:32 etc
drwxr-xr-x   3 root     root     4096 May 13 14:55 home
drwxr-xr-x   3 root     root     4096 May 13 13:06 lib
drwxrwxr-x   2 root     cvsusers 4096 May 10 11:32 tmp
drwxr-xr-x   5 root     root     4096 May 10 11:45 usr

If you guys see something wrong please let me know.
Thank you.
