Shouldn't the resume and the interview be about facts?
What do you want to make happen between now and the New Year? Yes, lots of people will be away, but there is still an opportunity to make progress.
Consider providing evidence to back it up. Of course, you put your best foot forward when you craft your resume.
Data storage, retrieval and security are just some of the issues that constantly challenge enterprise network managers.
You can't improve unless you understand clearly what you are doing well and what you need to improve upon.
What non-work roles do you have and what kind of time and flexibility do you require to fill them?
And, you cannot plan your career with any degree of accuracy if you don't know how you measure up.
How are you feeling about the coming months? On the ground, the reality is not much better, particularly if you're out to find a good meal. Up-coming interview or dusty resume? At the same time, the growing volume of digital media has left them searching for easier ways to create and manage this promising new form of communications.
What kind of hours and travel schedule?
If you are in a networking meeting or informational interview, you might have blown your chance to make that important impression.
