BBDB: ignore messages from gmane

User-agent: Gnus/5.11 (Gnus v5.11) Emacs/22.1.50 (gnu/linux) 
Since gmane.org scrambles email addresses, I would like BBDB to
ignore messages from gmane.org. So I tried this:

(setq bbdb/news-auto-create-p 'bbdb-ignore-some-messages-hook)
(setq bbdb-ignore-some-messages-alist
      '(("Newsgroups" . "gmane.*")
        ))

But BBDB still keeps asking me whether or not to add these
scrambled email addresses to the database.

What's missing?
