Geachte,
stuurde. Toch zouden we u willen vragen onderstaande even te willen lezen.
http://www.ripe.net/ of http://www.apnic.net/
bestandsformaten (jpeg, bmp, tiff, xls, doc, msg, etc.) zullen we jammergenoeg
houden !
Met vriendelijke groeten,
Telenet Internet Fairplay Department

Dear Sir,
This message was automatically sent to you because you (or someone using your
email-address) sent a message to abuse@telenet.be The content of this message
possibly doesn't apply to the message that you sent us. We would still
appreciate it if you could find the time to read this.
Please keep in mind that Telenet can only deal with abuse originating from
Telenet customers. If you reported any kind of Internet Abuse originating from
another ISP, please redirect your complaints to the correct Internet Service
Provider, the one who provides access to the "abuser". You can locate these by
http://www.arin.net/ , http://www.ripe.net/ or http://www.apnic.net/
Reports of Internet Abuse by Telenet customers will be taken seriously, and all
necessary actions will be taken. It is possible that you might not always
receive a follow-up to your complaint.
In order to allow us to do so, we need evidence which proves that our customer
has committed any kind of abuse.
For e-mailabuse and usenetabuse we need the full messageheaders. Without them
we could not investigate your complaint.
For denial of service and other intrusion attacks we need excerpts of the
logfiles of your firewall. This includes involved ip-addresses, used
port-numbers and the exact time and time-zone. Without them we could not
investigate your complaint.
Please would you also be so kind as to limit these logfiles to the time of the
incident. There's little use in sending us last week's log as well when you
want to report an incident of today.
If possible kindly copy-paste the headers or log to the body of your message.
If you would prefer to attach a file to your complaint, then kindly only use
plain-text files. Mails with only other types of files attachmed (jpeg, bmp,
tiff, xls, doc, msg, etc.) will unfortuantely be igonred.
Quite often these attachments are, because of security reasons, automatically
deleted.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
We would also want to thank you for your efforts in making the Internet livable.
Yours Faithfully,
Telenet Internet Abuse Department
