Hi there,
We have installled CVSNT 2.5.03 scorpio build 2151 on Windows 2003
server and the users are using windows XP
with tortoise client to checkout and work with CVS
We are facing a strange issue where the user is not able to checkout
all the folders in a module which she was able to do few weeks back
Please note the folders and the files are available in the server.
When the user tries to checkout only few folders and files are checked
out to the local system and the rest of the folders and files are not
getting checked out.
We have tried the following things to solve this issue
1. created one more user given him all the permission and tried to
chekout but ended with same results
2. Reset all the permission for the user and tried but ended with same
results
Please let us know if any of you have faced this issue and any
workarounds to resolve this issue
Thanks and regards,

The permission schema(s) that is available in windows are enough different and
controlled so differently from Unix, that for folks who work mostly in a Unix
environment, i.e, the folks who are on this list ... even guessing WHICH
permission schema just got messed up is a nightmare.
A lot more windows folks hang out over at the CVSNT lists, and as that is the
product you are using I suspect you will get better/more answers if you re-ask
your question there. It might be interesting to see a URL pointing to the
CVSNT list message that solves it for you when it gets figured out though.
