Ahh... Well, in most cases you would have been using a vendor hacked
version of cvs in any case. The only vendor I know that shipped with
cvs-1.11.15 was Redhat. For example, Fedora Core 2 used both
cvs-1.11.15-2.i386.rpm and cvs-1.11.15-2.i386.rpm with corresponding
SRPMS files like cvs-1.11.15-6.src.rpm and I think there RHEL 2 may
have used the same revision. If you happen to have FC2 disks laying
around, you can pull a pristine copy of the tarball from it along
with the Redhat patches. As you might guess the cvs-1.11.15-6.src.rpm
contained the security fix that was released in cvs-1.11.16. If that is
what you need, I probably have access to an old FC2 upgrades directory
somewhere...

fwiw: cvs-1.11.15 existed as the release from 2004-04-14 thru 2004-05-19
which is why it is such a rare tarball to find. It had a serious
security hold in the CVS server executable which is why it was pulled in
just over a month.

Is the cvs checkout of the cvs1-11-15 tagged sources sufficient for your
needs?
