Yeah, I thought of that. Unfortunately, it's not good at handling
situations where the version I want represents a deletion. I would want
it to delete my working file, which obviously won't happen. Also, let's
say I do this and I don't already have a copy in my working directory.
When I try to commit, it will give me an error and force me to "cvs
add" the file. Which means I have to know the keyword-substitution mode
that I want, even though that information is already in CVS.
There's got to be an easier way. I would think that "give me version X
of file Y" would be a pretty simple operation for a version control
system!
