Thanks,

I've seen this, but am still not clear on where or how to actually set it on the server. The cvs server doesn't run as a daemon process; we simply checkout and commit projects to the repository via ssh on the clients.

For example, on my client, when I want to checkout project ABC from my cvs server:
# cvs -d :ext:cvserver.myhouse.net:/home/cvsroot checkout ABC

Where do I put the '-T' on the server?

Thanks,
DW

I am going to build a new box with larger /tmp diretory, but in the meantime, how can I tell the server to use "/usr/local/tmp" as the temporary directory?

Use the -T global option on the server:

        <http://ximbiot.com/cvs/manual/cvs-1.12.12/cvs_2.html#SEC39>
