It's native on Windows XP, at least. I have a copy in my system32 directory,
with the following version information:
Description: Find String (grep) Utility
Company: Microsoft Corporation
File Version: 5.1.2600.0 (xpclient.010817-1148)
Internal name: find
Item Name: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
As the description says, it's basically the 'grep' command.
