There was some lively discussion about add-time triggers (an addinfo
capability) but the proposal was shot down. The rationale was that
one user of the client/server implementation thought that he should be
able to do a "cvs add" while disconnected, and that there's nothing
that an addinfo trigger can catch that a commitinfo trigger can't.

I know that we can send a mail when a COMMIT operation is carried out. But
my query is can I send an email exclusively for file ADD.
I am using redhat distribution 8.0 with cvs-1.11.5 client/server installed.
On the client side I am using WinCVS 1.3b10. (all machines have OS Win2K)
My requirement is to inform the users when a file is added to the
repository, I know that the COMMIT operation is required to add a file to
the server, but can an exclusive mail be sent for the same??
