Update -A on WD from branch

Hi

I have a question regarding branch update.

Suppose I have a branch ,branched at revision 1.30 of
file foo.c
The trunk has 1.31,1.32,1.33 
Now I have a working directory checked out from a tag 
made on the branch.
Here, foo.c has has the following revisions
1.1,....,1.30,1.30.2.1,1.30.2.2,1.30.2.3
To commit to the branch,I do cvs update -A to avoid
sticky tag error.
After this update, what will be the contents of foo.c?
Will it be 1.33 or 1.30.2.3 + 1.33?

I am very confused about this.Pls clarify.
