there seems to be cvs pserver processes hanging around after the respective
client has gone on to bigger and better things.
Is this normal for CVS? What causes this? Is there anyway these pserver
processes can realize they have been abandoned by the client?
I notice that a normal kill command can take care of some (and their respective
tmp directory), but other pserver processes require the -9 and manual removal
of their tmp dir. Not sure why.
Are there any scripts to monitor and cleanup these lost pserver processes and
their tmp dirs?
Thanks
Mark
