I usually  say "-D now".  I know  "-D today" would work,  too, but I'm
not sure if it means midnight (00:00) of today.  So, I say "now".


Are the missing  files present on the branch  you're trying to export?
CVS won't export files not in the branch being exported, AFAIK.
