Subject : CVS admin -m : bug ?

I don't seem to fully understand the way cvs admin -m works; it is intended
to change a given file revision log message to another.

When I do :
cvs admin -mHEAD:"My changed log message" <file>
the actual log found in the repository <file>,v is just "My", the first
word of the changed message.

I have been trying different syntaxes, with single, double quotes,
backslahes and the like to no avail.

Is this a referenced bug (I have been looking for an answer but couldn't
find any in FAQ's or bug lists) ? Is there any workaround other than
changing the source code ?

Thanx in advance,

Christophe-Olivier GUGLIELMI
