When I run cvs commit I get the following message:
cvs server: failed to create lock directory in repository
`/cvsroot/terraex/terraex': Permission denied
cvs server: lock failed - giving up
cvs [server aborted]: lock failed - giving up
The cvs repository is on sourceforge.net and I can run update and add
fine. I'm not the developer who started the cvs repository, I have been
added to the project lately and despite trying several times, I
constantly get this message. It does get to the stage of examining
directories, asking for my password, asking for a log entry and then
printing ?'s for a few files.
Is this a CVS, Sourceforge, or "Me" issue?
Running cvs 1.10.7 on Linux 2.2.14
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
David
