You probably should look at some other tool than CVS then.... I would
recommend Aegis if your group is willing to get into doing more formal
change managment, or maybe TCCS if not (or something commercial).
Either that or perform some "gentle" re-education on your co-workers....
Locking is definitely a problem, even if all the group are in the same
room 24x7. (perhaps even more-so then! ;-)
