Help with checkout

Hi,

This is probably a neophyte question, but it has me stumped...

I'm having a problem with checking out modules.  If I check out using
WinCVS, no problem.  From the command line (through cygwin) everything
appears to process ok, but many of the files will show in WinCVS as being
modified, even though I have just checked them out.  I have tried all of the
switches that seem to apply.

Any help would be appreciated...
