You haven't gotten any response because this isn't a CVS question and
you haven't provided enough details for anyone to even begin to point
you in the right direction.  What platform(s) are you on?  Is your
repository local or on some kind of network file system (e.g., NFS or
Samba)?  How did you try to remove the lock files/directories?  What
error did you get?  Since you're having problems removing files and/or
directories, you should ask someone knowledgable in your operating
system for help, not info-cvs.
