Howdy --
granted we have a 680MB history file.
Could that be why I'm getting this error?
>cvs history -T -a olfmake.defs
Terminated with fatal signal 11
>cvs -v
Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.10.8 (client)

The history file is sitting on a Solaris machine with cvs 1.10.8 server.
Most of the history file was created with cvs 1.9.x, could that be the
problem? And what is a fatal signal 11, anyway?
