I'm glad to hear about the igraph 0.6 change from 0-based to the standard R
1-based indexing, as that will help R users get over one of the significant
hurdles to using the package with data sets developed originally for other
packages.
I hope that maintainers of other CRAN packages that depend on igraph
(specifically gdistance, which I use frequently) will be personally reminded of
the change before 0.6 goes live so they can make suitable compensating code
adjustments.
Thanks for doing a great job on a really useful package!

Another thing, in recent igraph 0.6 R packages, vertices and edges
(and many other quantities) are numbered from one, not zero. Don't
forget this!
