Hi! AFAICT there is a conflict of hyperbole with the function `pages-directory'. With hyperbole enabled the `pages-directory' function yields a buffer with inactive links. Without hyperbole these links lead to the respective pages. Most likely the conflict is due to the setting of `temp-buffer-show-hook' in function `internal-temp-output-buffer-show'.
