I've just made another alpha release fixing a couple of bugs and again 
improving the docs.

As you can see from the title of this email, I've also changed the 
format of the version number to be slightly more standard and readable 
(2.0alpha4 vs 2.0-a4). I intend to stick to this for beta releases.
