I doubt this is vcdimagers fault, but figgered you folks might be able to help
anyway.
Ive got an avi video that I convert to mpg format with
ffmpeg -i thanksgiving.avi -hq -target ntsc-svcd thanksgiving.mpg
and it plays audio/video fine in mplayer.
I use
vcdimager -t svcd -c thanksgiving.cue -b thanksgiving.bin --volume-count=0
--volume-number=0
thanksgiving.mpg
to create my cue and bin files
and then
cdrdao write --device /dev/hdd --speed 12 thanksgiving.cue
to make the svcd
now when I play it in my DVD player (which plays other svcds that ive created
fine), The video works fine,
but I get absolutely no sound.
If I play the svcd in my computer with mplayer, it works fine as well.
so, whats the scoop? Ive tried with vcd and svcd and both do the same thing for
this particular avi that im
burning.
