But that is problematic, because I will also have to take care of the section,
subsection, subsubsection numbering as well.

@unnumbered and @heading is useful for alternative numbering schemes (e.g. using
roman numerals, or when using some special heading system).

But if I simply want the chapter, sections and subsections, to start from number
5, there could be a variable one can set (e.g. @chapcounter 1).
