I've implemented a new option in texinfo.tex for this. The official
command will be address@hidden on|off' (I'm open to better suggestions
for the name), but you can test it with address@hidden txideftypefnnl'.
That name sounds as good as any if this is a one-off kind of feature.
If you think to apply the feature to other contexts (i have none in
mind to suggest), maybe something like:
@extrabreak CONTEXT on|off
where CONTEXT is one of ‘deftype’, etc, would be better. For example,
a weird (entirely hypothetical) context might be ‘typefn’, which breaks
between the function name and its args, or even ‘eacharg’, which breaks
between each arg. Anyway, just thinking aloud; looking forward to its
final form for GNU Serveez...
