Hi,

This should be working in Windows 10. 
You might need to change the encoding of the text editor you are using to
UTF-8. If you are using the text editor integrated in the GUI, open the
preferences in Octave, change to the "Editor" tab, scroll all the way down,
and change the encoding in the last drop-down list to "UTF-8". You might
have to re-open the file or create a new one. Just check what the toolbar at
the lower edge of the text editor says.

Unfortunately, I cannot type (nor paste) non-ASCII characters at the command
prompt. But they should display fine in the output and in plots.
