- I think a code repository was discussed in the past, something
Matlab Central like but with better license terms? Agora seems to come
to mind? I think Octave's is just a placeholder at the moment.

- I think youtube as a video host is fine (others may disagree), but
the idea would be to collect/organize links to them on the Octave
wiki.

- as an open source project, marketing is whatever the users/admins
decide to put into it. Again, commercialization/revenue model is not
the same as what you'd likely see for proprietary software product,
but short of having a presence in different online communities (FB,
stackexchange, others) what did you envision?
