I downloaded the .exe installer and after all was done I learned that "pkg -forge install packagename" would not work. Couldn't install any packages. I wonder whatever happened. I then ran Octave with administrator privileges and packages still wouldn't install. The GUI works beautifully though. I also wonder if isn't possible to configure the GUI to run 3.6.4 on it. That would be great, too. :-) My computer has Windows 7 Professional. Thanks, F.
