I try to write code which calculates maximum characteristic value of a matrix
(spectral radius) and need a function similar to Matlab's charpoly(). It
looks like GNU Octave 3.6.4 do not contains this function according to >help
charpoly >error: help: 'charpoly' not found. Is there some alternative for
this one? Is someone have some good advice how to do the same work with
different code?
Thank you.
