Me too. All of us in this list. But it seems you don't use Octave as much as to 
know that it is compatible with matlab... ;-) 

The Lanczos filter I use was made by a Matlab user, but it is freely 
downloadable from their file exchange. It is the first entry if you google for 
the 3 words I sent: "lanczos filter matlab". It runs under Octave without 
troubles and as far as I know it is also 100% legal to use it also under Octave.
