Ah, that'd do it, then.   Fink builds under an unpriviliged user account
for safety, and that requires system-wide acceptance of the Xcode
license.  Having to type "agree" is definitely annoying.

Apple has done worse, though: at one time for updates it was necessary
to accept the Quicktime license _only_ on a console, even on normally
headless server.

Fink's Octave packages do have some idiosyncrasies with respect to other
distributions, but that's mainly in how we handle the libraries and
development packages.
