Is it a different version of Ubuntu 12.04? I don't have access to my Ubuntu
laptop at the moment but it is also 12.04 and I don't recall having any such
issues. I only remember editing maybe 3 text files, and the sources.list
wasn't one of them. I guess maybe I made some selections I don't remember
when I installed.
But I do know that command didn't grab everything I needed. I had to also
install several basic development utilities that I didn't already have like
automake, flex, and git. Unfortunately I didn't keep a full list.
