mkoctfile: stripping disabled on this platform

Hello,

When I install the struct package, the following warnings occour:
octave-3.2.3:7> pkg install -global struct-1.0.9.tar
mkoctfile: stripping disabled on this platform


Do I have to worry about this?

I use octave-3.2.3 on a Mac OSX 10.4.11 PowerPC.

In the net I found some information about this problem, but not how  
to solve it.
