Yes, there are a lot of faces to convert. I just did a screen shot to get the picture I emailed, based on my experience with your original image.. Later, I made another run with edge colors closer to the face colors:
ecolor=[.5 .5 .05; .5 .05 .5;.1 .5 .5;.1 .5 .1;.5 .1 .1;.1 .1 .5;0 0 0];
so the images wouldn't be so dark. I saved that one as a pdf, my normal practice for graphs I'm going to use in documents, and had the long wait. The resulting figure looks pretty nice, but the file is 3 MB.
I see! But I am still puzzled that I get all the single pictures but
when I want them together some surfaces are missing.
