Hullo All,
I am running octave-3.4 on Fedora 14 x86_64.
I had been running with the fedora octave-forge rpm (binary package)
installed, but on advice that it was outdated I removed it, downloaded and
installed octave-forge packages using the pkg command.
Having installed the packages I ran a problem that I have been working on
as a test, and it now reports;
"...error: memory exhausted or requested size too large for range of
Octave's index type"
I have not altered the code.
The packages that I installed are as follows;
combinatorics
fpl
general
gnuplot
image
io
miscellaneous
nan
optim
plot
signal
specfun
vrml
structure
statistics
Is this a known problem?
Is there a way to fix this other than to revert to my previous arrangement
of using the (outdated) fedora octave-forge rpm?
Cheers,
