Are you asking about the changeset that fixed that bug? It looks like
it was this one:

     http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/919cadf334f8

You can either apply this patch manually to your sources, or you can
use Mercurial to update to that changeset and build a release from
there.

Yes, there should be a minor 3.4.1 release "soon", as I understand it.
