I'm successfully building Octave using Intel C++/Fortran and Intel MKL
(multithreaded), including FFTW and UFSparse (UMFPACK, CHOLMOD, etc.).
Your information is, however, too vague for me to provide any useful
feedback. Do you use the Intel compilers?
