Link error with HDF5 library

I am using with the Octave on the remote sever. However, the Octave on that sever is built without HDF5 library support.

the followoing msg is encountered when I try to load HDF5 file

 

octave:5> load('-hdf5','eps-000000.00.h5')
error: load: octave executable was not linked with HDF5 library

 

Is that possible to build dynamic link between Octave with HDF5 library as I have my own HDF5 library files on that sever?
