I have tried diffrent IDE's including kOctave and others. The best thing I
think out there is Qtoctave.
I have been using it since I discovered it which is about more than 5 months
now. All the other IDE's are not in active development but this one is and
the developers come out with regular releases.

It is nice to use and therer laters release has a lot of improvements. Here
