Sorry. I run octave 2.9.10 on gnuplot 4.2 patchlevel 0 on Ubuntu Feisty
Fawn (7.04). These are manually compiled as the mailing list archives
indicated that drawing graphs on top of images is a recent feature not
supported by releases packaged on Ubuntu.
