You need to list the actual versions of octave and octave-forge that is installed. When you start octave, the first line that is printed out on the screen should tell you exactly what version you are using. For example, mine says "GNU Octave, version 2.1.72 (i386-apple-darwin)."

That's the version that the people on this list need.
