I have some Matlab code for audio processing. I'd like to move it
over to an open source environment like Octave (or perhaps even R or
SciPy).
I need to write a GUI for audio editing, probably using GTK+. I'd
like Octave to do all the numerical stuff. I've seen
http://octave-gtk.sourceforge.net/. But is it possible to do it in
reverse, to use Octave like a library and call its functions from a C
program? I have a feeling it might be easier to do the fiddly GUI
stuff this way.
