precision

sorry for the dumm question,

how do you set the precision in the matrix output like this:
integers numbers are printed integers and
floats are rounded to 2 digits past the dec. point.

like 5 6 1.23

cause i always get: saving [1 2 3] is ok (produces 1 2 3),
but saving
[1 2 3.23] makes [1.0000 2.0000 3.2300] in the output.

is there an easy way to do this?
