I could imagine that gset is not sufficiently general. You might want to
gset something other than gnuplot.
I still don't understand why it's so difficult to save a pdf on a PC or on a
Mac in X11, when AquaTerm on a Mac makes it so easy. Compared to X11,
AquaTerm is a very small program/terminal.
