Now that I can compile Octave, thanks to the Octave help mailing list,
how do I customize the compile to use atlas that has been tuned for my
processor?
Also, from my configure log below it looks like I'm using fortran
libraries that are optimized for i486. Is that a concern (speedwise)
if my processor is an i868?
My configure log:
Octave is now configured for i686-pc-linux-gnu
