Attie,
plot(x,y)
print('/tmp/plot.eps','-color')
this produces an eps file
or
gset output "filename"
gset terminal the_terminal_you_want
type "gset terminal" on octave prompt to see a list of terminals, and/or
have a look at gnuplot documentation

Hi
I wish to save plots that I generated with Octave. I am running Octave
under Linux, i.e. the command "plot" opens an Xwindow on the screen,
generated by gnuplot. Any advice on how to save such a plot to a
PostScript or JPEG file?
Thanks,
Attie
