`I've created two functions, one to generate the Chebyshev polynomials
``(with the symbolics library) and one to calculate an approximation
``polynomial for a given function. My work is at the link below:
`
http://wiki.octave.org/wiki.pl?ChebyshevPolynomialApproximation

`My question is how much of this is actually already provided by the
``standard functions and by the OctaveForge symbolics package? There are
``a few cheb* functions, but I didn't really understand what they were doing.
`

`Can somebody check what I've done, and maybe say how I can use the
``internal functions to accomplish the same thing? (or if anybody notices
``an error, please let me know -- I do actually need to use this function :)
