I have just looked at
http://homepage.mac.com/chibaf/math/macosx/install/10.2/.
The installation instructions for Octave-2.1.50 are given for
Octave with ATLAS and fftw
and (/or?)
Octave with vecLib and fftw.
It implies to me that one installs one or the other. Is the vecLib
(comprising BLAS, LAPACK, vDSP, vMathLib), which is included with the Apple
Mac OS X Developer Tools equivalent to the ATLAS matrix algebra library? If
no, what is the difference.
